MY “DOGGY” LIFE
STORY TIMELINE
| 1975 | I received my first dog, a lovely Pinscher-mix female pup named "Luxi". She was a good friend and the best watch dog ever! |
| 1990 | Luxi went over the Rainbow Bridge at 15 years of age. |
| 1992 | I bought my first purebred dog, a Siberian Husky female puppy named Amulett "Bilka" from a well-known musher/exhibitor/breeder, Attila Jankovics. |
| 1995 | Bilka has earned an Obedience Title (yes, we did!). |
| 1997 | The first issue of the NORDI Northern Breed Magazine was published (design and typesetting by me) |
| 1998 | The birth of the first Kakastavi Siberian Husky: Kakastavi Asterix "Rixi", Bilka's one and only offspring. |
| 1999 | My kennel name "KAKASTAVI" was registered at the MEOE Hungarian Kennel Club |
| 2001 | My first trip to the USA! Visiting the Siberian Husky Club of America (SHCA) National Specialty in Kerhonkson, NY. • Rixi completed his Hungarian Championship (HCH). |
| 2002 | USA again: SHCA National Specialty in Carlisle, PA. |
| 2003 | Visiting the SHCA National Specialty in Portland, OR. |
| 2004 | SHCA National Specialty in Greenville, SC. • My new puppy boy Tovik's Law And Order "Tovik" arrived from the USA. |
| 2005 | Tovik made the final cut in Open Class (18) at the Siberian Husky Club of Italy Specialty Show in Borno, Italy. Judge was Mr. Michael Jennings (USA). • Tovik won the Open Class (14) at the Italian Northern Breed Club Specialty Show in Parma, Italy! Judge was Mrs. Kathleen Kanzler (USA). |
| 2006 | SHCA National Specialty in Rockford, IL. • My kennel name "KAKASTAVI" was registered and protected by the FCI: reg.no. 448/2006. • Tovik completed his Hungarian Championship (HCH), Hungarian Show Championship (HSCH), won the Top Adult Siberian Husky Male 2005 and the Top Champion Of The Year 2006 title. |
| 2007 | Visiting the SHCA National Specialty in Rohnert Park, CA. • Tovik is a new Hungarian Grand Champion. |
| 2008 | Tovik was shot by a faceless bastard in the woods, his front leg broke and needed surgery to fix. • Kelly Boyd (Tovik Siberians, USA) brought me my new Siberian Husky puppy girl Tovik's Mersenne "Merszi" and spent a week with us in Budapest sightseeing and tasting good Hungarian food. • My dear old Bilka girl left us at 16 years. |
| 2009 | I was elected as a Board member of my breed club: Cynological Club For Sleddog Breeds Hungary. • I became a member of the Siberian Husky Club of America (SHCA). • The first litter ("C") of Merszi sired by Tovik was born. |
| 2010 | Merszi completed her Hungarian Championship. • The second litter ("D") of Merszi sired by Multi CH B-Casper Jr. of Doghouse Farm was born. |
| 2011 | I kept a girl named Kakastavi Emerald Dreams "Suzi" from Merszi's third litter ("E") sired by CH PlayMor's Game Time "Victor". |
| 2014 | Our dear old Rixi boy left us at 15 years and 7 months of age. • Suzi is a new Hungarian Champion (HCH). • HGCH HSCH HCH Tovik's Law And Order "Tovik" became a Veteran Champion (HVCH) as well. |
| 2015 | Merszi's last litter ("F") was born, sired by CH Barynuk's Iorek Birmyson. I kept the silver/gray girl Kakastavi Freezing Hot "Kicsi". • The only litter ("G") of Suzi was born, sired by HCH Son Of A Gun For Bigfootprint "Sunny". |
| 2016 | I started a new job at the Registration Office of the Hungarian Kennel Club MEOESZ. |
| 2017 | First babies of Kicsi were born, sired by Sunny ("H"). • Kicsi completed her Hungarian Champion title. • Second litter ("I") sired by Int.CH Torquemada's A Bit More Up "Andre" |
| 2018 | Third litter ("J") of Kicsi by HCH Inner Vision Yeltsin "Yeltsin" |
| 2019 | Fourth litter ("K") of Kicsi by HCH Husqvarna Walking Fire "Winnie". • Tovik passed in his sleep at 15 years and 9 months of age. |
| 2020 | Repeat litter of Kicsi x Winnie ("L"). • Two Kleinspitz puppies arrived: Cherry Karamit Nova "Maci" wolfsable Kleinspitz boy from the Czech Republic and Auring Foks Eniseya "Mici" creamsable girl from Russia. |
| 2021 | Another wolfsable Kleinspitz puppy from Czechia: Polly Karamit Nova "Polly". • My last Siberian Husky litter ("M"): Kicsi x HCH Husqvarna Inspiration For Stars and first Kleinspitz litter ("N"): Mici x HCH Fabio von Zwergen König "Sanyi" (2 puppies) was born. • I kept the female Kakastavi Nefertiti "Titi" from the Mici x Sanyi litter. • Maci completed the Hungarian Junior Championship (HJCH). |
| 2022 | I became member of the Hungarian Spitz Club (MSE). • Second Kleinspitz litter ("O"): Mici x Maci (4 pups). • Merszi left us at 14 years and 5 months of age. |
| 2023 | This year I had two litters ("P" & "Q") with Titi and Maci (1 and 2 puppies). |
| 2024 | I retired from MEOESZ. • A new wolfsable Klein boy was imported from Russia: Almaznyi Istochnik Bozhestvenno Prekrasen "Csuvi". • Suzi died unexpectedly at 13 years. |
| 2025 | Two Kleinspitz litters: Titi x Maci "R" (2 male puppies) and Mici x Maci "S" (3 female puppies). |
| 2026 | Csuvi got CAC at our Club Special Show. The Mici x Csuvi "T"-litter was born (4 female puppies). |
